Ruth Elizabeth Keck Age 96 of Evans, GA, Formerly of Arthur, TN was born Sept. 30, 1919 to the late Lawrence Dow & Mabel Carr Rowland and passed away Aug., 9, 2016. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by: Husband- Lenis Weir Keck, Sons- Carl & Paul Keck, Daughters- Alma, Joan, & June, Brothers - Hubert, Edwin, Sisters- Vernalie & Elsie, & Grandson- Michael P. Goins. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Shawanee Eastern Star Lodge.
Survived by Daughters- Nora (& Tom) Spradlin of Alexandria, VA & Vera (& Glenn) Harden of Evans, GA, Brother- Roger (& Patti) Rowland of Harrogate, TN, Sister- Rena Wilson of Monroe, MI, 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 Great-great grandchild, and a host of family & friends.
Funeral Services will be 11 AM Saturday, August 13 at Reece Funeral Home & Valley Chapel with Rev. Harry Gent officiating followed by a graveside service at Harrogate Cemetery. Pallbearers: Glenn Harden, David Logan Harden, Tom Ely, Gary Ely, James B. Rowland, Lynn Ely & Honorary Pallbearers: Dr. Brad Garrick Harden, Roger Rowland, & Tom Spradlin. Visitation will be Friday, August 12 from 6-7PM at Reece Funeral Home & Valley Chapel.
