Ruth Green

Ruth Green, 74 of Hulen, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the St. Joseph’s Hospital in London. She was born in Harlan on February 14, 1950, a daughter of the late Paris Howard and Dorthy Bell Price. Ruth was a believer in the Baptist Faith and had been a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leland Green, and sister, Ruby Howard.

Ruth is survived by her children, John Green, Jack McCann, and Mary Green Wyatt; brother, Billy Ray Howard; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 25, 2024, at the Blackmont Baptist Church with Rev. David Howard presiding.  Burial will follow at the Tackett Hill Cemetery in Hulen with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Blackmont Baptist Church.
