Ruth Baker

Ruth Baker, 59, of Ages, passed away on Thursday, May 19,2011 at the Johnson City Medical Center, Johnson City, TN. She was born in Oven Fork, KY on August 10, 1951 a daughter of the late Homer Sullivan and Omega Caldwell Sullivan Gross. She attended Laurel Branch Pentecostal Church and had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Glenda Ball and brothers, J.C. Sullivan, Darrell Sullivan and Donald ?Popeye? Gross. Survivors include her husband and 42 years, Charles Baker; children and their spouses, Cheryl Thompson, Gloria Gross, Mary and Gary Bryant, Dewayne and Carla Baker, Tonya and Tim Thompson and Brandyn Baker; grandchildren, Crystal Helton, Ben Pace, Megan Thompson, Timothy Thompson, Logan Baker, Katelyn Pace, Derick Thompson, Abigail Baker, James Chasteen, Jayleah Thompson and Caiden Baker; great-grandchildren, Emily Helton and Siera Helton; brother and sisters, Mavis Caldwell, Gail Greene, Marlie Sullivan, Reva Farley, Homer Sullivan, Freda Williams and Janice Middleton; special friends, Laura Saylor, Vestie Carroll, Verla and Larry Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
