Russell Lawson

Russell Lawson, 53 of Flat Lick passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at his home. He was born in Beverly, Kentucky on October 21, 1958 and was the son of the late Robert and Margaret Asher Lawson. Russell believed in the Baptist faith and worked as a guard for Eagle Security Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Louise Lawson and his parents-in-law, Ted and Lucy Honeycutt. Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Barbara Jean Honeycutt Lawson of Flat Lick; children, Douglas Edward Lawson, Russell Clinton Lawson, Brandon Tyler Lawson and Amanda Robyn Lawson all of Flat Lick; brothers, Douglas Edward Lawson and Cindy of Beverly and Robert Clinton Lawson of Pineville; sister, Shelly Teems and husband, Carl of Maysville, KY and a host of brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
