Roy D. Rhodes

Roy D. Rhodes, 66 of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023, at the Brookwood Retirement Community Nursing Home. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 27, 1956, the son of the late Floyd and Bessie Kelly Rhodes. He retired from Kroger’s after 19 dedicated years. Roy was a loving son, father, brother, and uncle. He enjoyed summer days outside, and his time spent with family. He loved to play the Daily Pick 3 Lottery and bet on horse racing.

Roy is survived by his daughter, Kelly Marie Richie and husband, Bobby of Lexington, Indiana; grandpets, Molly and Meanie; brother, James Rhodes; sister, Vickie Nelson and husband, Steve; forever loving sister-in-law, Diana Rhodes; forever love and friend, Vicki Stidham; loving nieces and nephews, Tammie Rhodes-Caldwell, Tina Brougham, Todd Nelson, Johny Nelson, Justin Rhodes, and Jon Rhodes; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and lots of loving cousins.

Funeral service will be at 12:00 PM on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at the Centennial Baptist Church in Siler with Rev. Mike Brooks presiding. Burial will follow at the Rhodes Cemetery in Siler. Pallbearers will be Jon Brougam, Seth Brougam, James Rhodes, Justin Rhodes, Jonathon Rhodes, Steve Nelson, Keith Fuson, Shawn Fuson, and Devin Fuson. Honorary pallbearer will be Bobby Richie.

The family will receive friends at the Centennial Baptist Church in Siler from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
