Roy Jones

Roy Glenn Jones, 64, of Tinsley, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Pineville Community Hospital with his family at his side. He was born in Tinsley, on February 26,1949 a son of the late Roy and Maggie Alford Jones. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and had retired from Bell County Coal after 20 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Heather Brooke Jones, nephew, Sean Ferry; great-niece, Maxine Emma Grace Fuson and special cousin, Jimmy Cecil Fuson. Survivors include his sister and their spouses, Wilma and Jack Taylor; Maxine and Kenneth Neal, Patsy and Jack Harris, Joyce and Charles Bennett; nieces and nephews, Ronnie and Trina Fuson, Tiffany, Wesley and Bub Treece; Christopher, Brittany and Bently Fuson; Randy, Brandi, Reagan and Rylee Fuson and Jennifer Ferry; special cousins, Joann and Ambassador (Retired) George Staples; Gertie Buell and Pauline Fuson and a host of other relatives and friends.
