Roxie Maiden Gibson

Roxie Maiden Gibson, age 84, of Ingram, KY went home to be with the Lord on September 6, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 19, 1934 to the late Jeremy and Clora Gibson Maiden. She believed in the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Gibson; her parents, Jeremy and Clora Maiden; her sisters, Vestina Bays, Ada Gibson, Celia Maiden, Nellie Maiden; her brother, Wilburn Maiden and her daughters, Della Mae Gibson Bushong and Difene Gibson. Survivors include her children, Linus and Mavis Gibson, Gilbert Gibson, Arwine Gibson, Kenneth Gibson, Berniece and Jerry Evans, Dianna and Leamon Daniel, Dewey Gibson and Brenda Gibson-Baker; her grandkids, Tiffany Bays, Jennifer and Jonathan Marsee, Thomas Arnold Baker, Hannah Gibson, Aleigha Gibson and David Gibson and great-grandchildren, Nathan and Chloe Marsee and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 2:00 PM Monday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Brooks, Rev. Truman Partin, Rev. Wayne Givens and Rev. Paul Wayne Goodin. Music will be by Bill and Teresa Stewart, Cindy and Irene Goodin and family and Jewell Miller. Burial will be in the Gibson Cemetery with Gilbert Gibson, Arwine Gibson, Linus Gibson, Kenneth Gibson, Dewey Gibson, Jonathan Marsee, Arnold Baker and Matthew Evans serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6 until 9 PM and Sunday from 6 until 9 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Gibson Family.
