Rosa Mary Cloud

Rosa Mary Cloud, 77, of Pineville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was born on October 4, 1937 a daughter of the late Joseph and Florence Stewart Cloud. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She had retired from Durham Funeral Home where she provided many years of assistance to the Durham Family and the community. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Juanita Fergerson, Joseph Cloud, Mary Helen Cloud, Mary Hester Cloud, Lucille Cloud, Catherine White and Jesse Mays. Survivors include her daughter, Cecilia Renee Carton and husband, Michael; grandchildren, Dominic Carton and Tamicca Carton; great-grandchildren, Gabby and Jayden Carton; brother, Walter Cloud and his wife, Alice; God-son, Austin Pursiful, special nieces, Patricia Ann Cloud and Tenna Cloud, special nephews, Charles Pursiful, Ricky L. Washington and Raymond M. Cloud; Sisters in Christ, Sarah Jane Durham, Fannie Chapman and Marie Fergerson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be Saturday at 1:00 PM at the Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Washington and Rev. Robert Cornett. Pallbearers will be Anthony 'Boo' Cloud, Ricky Washington, Jr., Daryll Washington, Tyrone Henson, Jerome Fergerson, Deonte Fergerson and Rachaad Cloud. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Mohan, Dr. Curtis and Bobby Hendrickson, Jr. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 until 8 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Cloud Family.
