Ronald Wayne "Ron" Boger

Ronald Wayne Boger, 63, of Middlesboro, KY passed away on Monday, August 3, 2020 at his home. He was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on February 15, 1957 and was the son of the late Elwood Joseph Boger and Joyce Faye Harvey Boger-Parker. Ron had been a truck driver, who felt the open roads was life's wonderful dream and he missed traveling. He wore many different hats you might say. He served his country with pride in the Army. He was a volunteer with the Rescue Squad and with the Bell County Volunteer Fire Department where he had many great friends whom he loved dearly. He was the Cub Scout leader for Troop 519. Ron was a husband, a dad, a grandfather, a brother, and a friend to many. He would tell you of God's amazing love and was a member of the Blackmont Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Wendy Boger. Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Charlene Rutherford Boger; children, Logan Boger, Burley Boger and his wife, Danielle, and Sarah Boger and her fiancé, Jason Reynolds; grandchildren, Dakota Boger, Braden Boger, Brantley Boger, Taylor Keser and Jack Reynolds; siblings, Ed Boger, and his wife, Christen, Sandy Marie Odelette, Cindy Jones and her husband, Dannie, Tony Berry and his wife, Tammy, and Stephen Barnett and his wife, Vickie; a special aunt, Jeanette Seaholm; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial Services will be at 5:00 PM Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at the Blackmont Baptist Church Parking Lot with Rev. David Howard. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until the service time in the church parking lot. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations toward the funeral expenses.
