Roger Shepherd

Roger Lee Shepherd, Sr. ,65, of Pineville, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2013 at his home on Laurel Hill. He was born in Inman, Virginia on January 20, 1948 a son of the late Ruby Louvine Marcus and Adrian Marvin Shepherd. He was self employed electrician at Shepherd Service, Inc. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James 'Bud' Shepherd. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Linda Kay Wolfe Shepherd; children, Roger Shepherd Jr. ,of Taylor, MI, Shannon Calkins and Chris of Taylor MI, Robert Shepherd and Kristy of New Boston, MI. ; seven grandchildren, Heather Russell ,and Andrew, Mellisa Noel, and Christopher, Joshua Shepherd, Christopher Calkins II, and Laura, Ryan Calkins, Zachary Shepherd, and Isaac Shepherd; two great grandchildren, Emilee Russell, and Noel Russell and Kaylee; brothers, Clyde Shepherd, Sam Shepherd, Charles Shepherd, sisters, Betty Daniels, and Helen Mitchell; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
