Rodney Sanders

Rodney Sanders, 49 of Calvin passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015 at his home. He was born on July 28, 1965 in Fort Wayne, Indiana and was a son of Bruce Estel and Evelyn Wells Sanders. Rodney worked as a coal miner and was known by many to be the kind of guy that would give you the shirt off his back. He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Estel Sanders, Sr. Survivors include his children, Jeremy Sanders and his wife, Brooke, Jessica Sanders, and Kevin Sanders; grandchildren, Brody Kyle and Brylee Kate Sanders; mother, Evelyn Sanders; sister, Debbie Cashen and husband, Walt; brothers, Bruce Sanders and wife, Benita, Dennis Sanders and wife, Michelle and Jason Sanders and wife, Tonya; former wife, Tammy Sanders and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Services will be Monday at 8:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremy Sanders and Rev. Gary Wagner. Graveside services will be on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens at East Pineville with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 until 8 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Sanders family .
