Rocky Dean Steele

Rocky Dean Steele, 64, of Speedwell, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at his home. He was born in Winchester, Tennessee on February 11, 1961, and was the son of the late Clarence Steele and Anna Franklin Campbell. Rocky was a member of Town Creek Missionary Baptist Church and had worked in building construction where he enjoyed painting.

In addition to his parents, Rocky was preceded in death by four sisters, Paula, Teresa, Donna and Betty.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Carolyn Hunley Steele; daughter, Roxanne Steele; son, Douglas Steele; grandchildren, Ryan Steele and Logan Steele; sister, Brenda West; brothers, Michael “Tudor” Steele and Keith Anderson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 21. 2025 at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel with Rev. Ricky Braden. Burial will follow in the Town Creek Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Thursday after 12:00 PM until funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel in Harrogate, Tennessee, which is honored to be serving the Steele family.
