Robin Kay Saylor

Robin Kay Saylor, 64, of Lancaster, and wife of Christopher “Chris” Saylor passed away at home on Sunday, April 12, 2026. She was born to the late Freddy Lewis Perdue and Virginia Pauline Faw Calhoun on November 23, 1961 in Somerset, Kentucky. At the age of 56, she began her journey with the Lord on December 28, 2017. She was a member of Harmon’s Lick Holiness Church in Cartersville.

Robin was a graduate of Lincoln County High School, Class of 1979. She was a skilled and trusted “Pre-Admission Registrar” at Good Samaritan (UK) and Ephraim McDowell Regional Hospitals for twenty-plus years!

She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and loved going to the lake and camping. She loved life and enjoyed going to Hawaii, Panama City, Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head, Pigeon Forge, family reunions, and 4-wheeling trips in Southeastern, KY. Her hobbies included creating unique works of art and crafts. Robin loved and adored ALL of her precious Grand-Babies! It was a badge of honor to be called “Nanny” and she looked forward to spending time with each of them!

Chris and Robin were approaching their 32nd anniversary. They were married on July 2, 1994. Some of our favorite memories together were made at Daytona Beach in 1994 at the Daytona 500.

In addition to her loving husband and “Best Friend”, she is survived by her son, Christopher Boyd “Chris” Hubbard; two sisters, Sandy Lonon and Natalie Frame; two brothers, Rick (Doris) Perdue and Nathan (Kim) Perdue; six grandchildren, Cameron Hubbard, Jayce Saylor, Caden Hubbard, Taylor Hubbard, Bryson Perdue, and Kaylee Hubbard; one great-grandchild, Walker Patton Hubbard; father and mother-in-law, Ronnie and Anna Lee Saylor; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides her parents, Robin was preceded in passing by her daughter, Christin Renee Hubbard, and her brother, Freddy Perdue.

Services celebrating Robin’s life will be held this Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Clark Legacy Center, 601 E. Brannon Rd., Nicholasville, KY 40356. The visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The service will begin at 12:00 p.m. A reception will follow the funeral and will conclude at 2:00 p.m.
