Robert Scott

Robert Leroy Scott, 75, of Lincoln Park, MI, passed away on Monday, September 10, 2007 at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn. He was born in Joplin, Missouri on December 9, 1932 the son of the late Riley and Hazel Williams Scott. Robert worked for Ford Motor Company for over 30 years as an assemblyman and a committeeman. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a ranger in the 101st Airborne Division. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Saylor Scott, sister, Mamie Scott and brother, Albert E. Scott. Survivors include his children and their spouses, Alice Faye and Steven Burns, Lige Cox, Pearlie Jean and Don Harris, Edward Lee Scott, Ruth Kathleen and Richard Vargo, Robert Leroy Scott, Jr., Elizabeth Evonne and Patrick Lane and Stephan Allen Scott, fifteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, sisters, Ruth and Kathy and a host of other relatives and friends.
