Robert Wayne ?Robbie? Hoskins, 45, of Kettle Island, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2008 in Mill Creek Hollow. He was born on June 30, 1963, a son of Daniel and Leta Mae Caldwell Hoskins. A member of the Mill Creek Baptist Church, he was a disabled coal miner and had worked for Straight Creek Coal, Nally and Hamilton and Elmo Greer. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bass and Sarah Hoskins and John and Lucy Caldwell. Survivors include his wife of 9 and a half years, Emily Lefevers Hoskins, children, Robert Allen Hoskins of Bledsoe, Shane Casey Hoskins of Pineville and Olivia McKenzie Hoskins of Cumberland Gap, he is expecting a first grandchild in September, parents, Daniel and Leta Hoskins of Kettle Island, brothers and sisters, Delilah and Clyde Johnson of Kettle Island, Danny and Beulah Hoskins of Kettle Island, Tony Hoskins of Kettle Island, Carol and Greg Ellis of Broken Arrow, OK; mother-in-law, Bessie Lefevers, father-in-law, Pearl Ray Lefevers; sister-in-law, Joyce Mary and Mike Lefevers and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
