Robert "Ed" Neal

Robert "Ed" Edward Neal, age 74, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Pineville Community Hospital. Ed was born September 14, 1940 in Pineville, Kentucky to William and Susie Neal. Ed was preceded in death by his beloved wives Beulah Mae Neal and Lana Atkins; his grandson Jereme Lenn Neal; brothers Fred, Junior, and George Neal; his half-sister Florence Saylor; and half-brother Big Grant Saylor. Ed is survived by his sister Nannie Baker; his brother Jimmie Neal; his son and his wife Lenn Edward and Alicia Neal; his daughter and her husband Sherry and Bob Molloy; the following grandchildren and spouses: Rob and Amber Smith of Fayetteville GA, Courtney and Travis Helmuth of Canton GA, Amanda Neal of Pineville KY and Emma Grace Neal of Pineville KY; two great grandchildren James Hagen Neal of Pineville, KY and Logan James Smith of Fayettevile, GA; and a host of family and friends. Ed was a generous, kind man who enjoyed life, gardening and spending time with family. We celebrate his life and know that he is resting in a better place. Services will be 2:30 PM Saturday at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev . John Neal and Mr. Bob Molloy. Burial will be in the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens at Pineville. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
