Robert Edward Millner

Robert Edward Millner age 72 of Harrogate, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 24, 2023, at home with his loving wife and family by his side.  Bob was born on December 9, 1950, to Robert and Evelyn (Tobert) Millner in Toledo, Ohio.  Bob married the love of his life Clara (Sissy) Brown on August 6, 1988. They have been happily married for 34 years.  Bob loved fishing, wrestling, and all things Elvis. He was the best Grampy and Uncle and was loved by everyone who knew him.  Bob retired from the Toledo Public Schools after 30 years as a custodian. Then after he retired, he continued to work for the Claiborne County School System at Cumberland Gap High school as a custodian until 2007.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Evelyn (Tobert) Millner; nephew, Bobby Lytle; great-granddaughter, Blakely Jourdan; and brother-in-law, Ronald DeMato.

He is survived by his loving wife, Clara (Sissy) Brown Millner of Harrogate, Tennessee; daughter, Krista and Ben Trimmer of Houston, Texas; sons, Joseph and Melissa Millner of Houston, Texas, and Christopher Millner of Helenwood, Tennessee; brothers, Jack and Vickie Millner of Toledo, Ohio, Richard and Debra Millner of Carey, Ohio, and Glenn and Karen Considine of South Hampton, Massachusetts; sister, Joan DaMato of Sylvania, Ohio; special father-in-law, Claude Brown of Harrogate, Tennessee; sister and brother-in-law, Ella (Dolly) and Mike Gulley of Harrogate, Tennessee; brother and sister-in-law, Claude (JR) and Stacey Brown of Honolulu, Hawaii; special daughter-in-law, Brooke Marsee; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 7:00 PM on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel with Reverend John Brown presiding.  Music will be provided by John Brown and Steppin' Out, George Brown, and Julie Smith.  Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM on Monday at the Mountain View Cemetery with Pastor Kenny Mullins presiding.  Pallbearers will be Joe Millner, Steve Brown, Dustin Gulley, Josh Bundy, Lucas Millner, and Tony Callahan.  Honorary pallbearers will be David Jones, Chad Millner, Jack Millner, Rick Millner, Micheal Gulley, Claude Brown, Jackie Millner, and Joseph Millner.
