Robert Green

Robert Paul Green, 60, of Pineville, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at the Pineville Community Hospital. He was born in Miracle, KY on March 27, 1953 a son of the late Martin and Alice Alford Green. He had been a mechanic and electrician in the coal mines. He was a kind and gentle husband and father who lived for his family, especially his grandsons. He loved hunting and fishing and being outdoors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, John L. and Charles R. Green and grandparents, Lewis G. and Rhoda Green and John and Mary Alford. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Gretchen Allen Green; sons, Jason Paul Green and Chad Thomas Green and wife, Tracey; grandsons, Eithen Scott Green and Hayden Nathaniel Green; brother and sisters and their spouses, Billy E. and Cassie Green; Mary and Andy Williams and Jewell and Nick Woodard; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
