Robert "Bob" Allen

Robert D. 'Bob' Allen, 65, of Cumberland Gap, TN passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Middlesboro ARH. He was born in Pineville, WV on May 9, 1950 a son of Helen Bryant Allen and the late Earl Allen. He had been a carpenter. Bob loved and spoiled all of his nieces and nephews and he was an avid fisherman and a country music fan. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by brothers, Jerry Allen and Sid Allen and a brother-in-law, Paul Green. He is survived by his mother, Helen Allen, sisters, Glennis Jackson and her husband, David; Gretchen Green; sisters-in-law, Glorianna Allen and Jeanette Allen; three nieces, seven nephews, three great-nieces, ten great-nephews and three great-great- nephews. Services will be at 8PM Monday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Gibbons. Burial will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Pinelawn Memorial Gardens with nephews and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Monday at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Allen Family.
