Ricky Caldwell

Ricky Caldwell, 63 of Helton, Kentucky passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. He was born at the old Red Bird Hospital in Beverly, Kentucky on January 4, 1959. Ricky was the son of Ruth and the late Richard Ray Caldwell of Bledsoe. He was a coal truck driver for H&N Trucking for over 30 years. Ricky’s greatest joy in his life were his grandchildren and he was the greatest Papaw in the world. Ricky was preceded in death by his father, Richard Ray Caldwell; his paternal grandparents, Sam and Betty Caldwell; his maternal grandparents, Manuel and Mary Howard; his sister, Glenda Caldwell; his father-in-law, Charlie Belcher Sr.; three brothers-in-law, Rush Morgan, Doyle Widener, and Clay Tolliver; and a host of aunts, uncles, and other relatives. Ricky is survived by his wife of 18 years, Jennifer Belcher Caldwell; his children, Melissa (Michael) Clifton of Middlesboro, Jody (Ben Farrar) of Iowa City, Iowa, Cullen Petrey of Wallins, and Autumn Higgins of Chattanooga, Tennessee; his grandchildren, James Fischer Clifton, Savannah Reese Clifton, Jaycee Marie Petrey, Kenzlee Elaine Petrey and Theodora (Teddy) Caldwell Farrar; his mother Ruth Howard Caldwell; his siblings, Carol Morgan, Nelson (Tammy) Caldwell, Delilah (Vic) Caldwell, Herman (Jenny) Caldwell, Mary Widener & Sandra Tolliver; his mother-in-law, Armilda Belcher of Wallins; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 29, 2022, at the Middlefork United Methodist Church with Rev. Clifton Caldwell and Rev. Shelby Howard presiding. Music will be provided by family and friends. Burial will follow at the Honey Branch Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Caldwell Family.
