Richmond Brock

Richmond Brock, 85, of Corbin passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019 at his home in London. He was born in Beverly, KY on July 10, 1933 a son of the late Hughie and Celetta Brock. Richmond was a member of Mt. Ararat Baptist Church and had been a Bull Dozier Operator at Eastover Mining Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jewell Dine Brock; a grandson, Brian Keith Brock; sisters, Nettie Helton, Susie Helton, Carrie Knuckles, Hester Knuckles and brother, McKinley Brock. Survivors include his children, Dale Brock and wife, Lois, Hank Brock, Brenda Lawson and husband, Ken, all of London; ten grandchildren, Adam Brock, Derrick Brock, Justin Brock, Christian Brock, Christopher Brock, David Lawson, Neil Lawson, Marvin Ray Lawson, Emily Brock and Sarah Brock; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, John Brock and wife Beulah and Connie Brock and wife, Sissy and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. Columbus Hensley and Rev. David Lawson. Music will be by Tom and Karen Wilburn. Burial will be in the Mud Lick Cemetery at Beverly. Pallbearers will be Adam Brock, Derrick Brock, Justin Brock, Donnie Rains and Brandon Rains. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 until 9:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Brock Family.
