Rev. Everette W. Eads, 76, of Pathfork, KY went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Middlesboro ARH. He was born in Pathfork, KY on August 23, 1939 a son of the late George and Virginia Daniels Eads. Everette had a Bachelor's Degree in Education, a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education with a Rank 1 and Principalship Administration Certificate. He held several teaching positions including, Foresters Creek Elementary (1-8), Polk Elementary School in Hamilton, OH (6th Grade), Principal and Teacher at Blackstar elementary School (K-6), and Teacher at Wallins (K-8). He was also the Curriculum Coordinator for the Harlan County Board of Education and Adjunct Professor at Union College in the Teacher Education Department. He had served as Pastor for Pathfork Holiness Church for 41 years and served as Bishop of many churches in Kentucky and Indiana. He was a Kentucky Colonel, member of the National Education Association and Member of the National Rifle Association. A favorite saying of Rev. Eads was 'Come On Church, we can make it.' In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Pauline King, Sally Ann Saylor, Tootsie Ondo and Maxine Howard. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Alma L. Saylor Eads; children,George Everly Eads and wife, Sharon; Beverly Eads and Jennifer Martcheva and husband, George; grandchildren, Steven Hutchens, Ashley Willis and husband, Chase, Emma Marcheva and Dimitar Marchev; sisters, Reva Lear, Carolyn Moffitt and Mitzi Oplinger and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be on Friday at 1:00 PM at the Pathfork Holiness Church with Rev. Johnny Bowling, Jr., Rev. Richard Jones and Rev. George Everly Eads. Music will be by the Church family. Burial will be in the Saylor Cemetery at Pathfork. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 PM Thursday until the funeral hour at the Pathfork Holiness Church.
