Rena Bell Miracle, 86, of Calvin, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2008 at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in Calvin on October 15, 1921 the daughter of the late Joe and Maggie Buell Miracle. She, along with her husband, Rev. Alvie Miracle, were founders of the Church of God of True Believers and had a Church Radio Program for many years. Rena Bell organized an annual Homecoming at the church which was well attended. She was saved as a young woman and one of her favorite things to do was to play the guitar and sing both at home and at church. She dedicated her life to the church and felt like the members were her ?children? whom she loved very much. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Alvie Miracle, a son, Joe Henry Miracle and brothers, Joe Miracle, Jr. and Garrett Miracle. Survivors include her daughter, Geraldine Reid of Pineville, grandsons, Kimble Clark Reid and Fred Asher Reid and his wife, Annette; great-granddaughter, Krystal Hocky and great-great-granddaughter, Krystaline Hocky and a host of other relatives and friends.
