Regina Martha Ptaszynski of Pineville, Kentucky formerly of Detroit, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. She was born on September 8, 1932 to the late Konstanty and Mary Kuchinsky Kisell. She had been married to the love of her life, the late John Ptaszynski Jr. Regina loved to dance, sing, play Bingo, and enjoyed life especially after she moved to Kentucky. She also enjoyed riding around and looking at the beautiful trees and would laugh at the crazy roads, as she called them. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Leo, Bob, Henry, William, Konstanty, Steve and Ed; her sisters, Blanche, Florence and Stella; and her son-in-law, Jake Rutherford. Regina is survived by her children, John III, Michael and his wife, Linda, Sue Gilbert and her husband, Ray, Debbie, and Christine Spehar and her husband, John; her grandchildren, Richard, Linda, Ryan, Shannon, Jonathon, Jaslyn, Lynn, Michelle, Amanda, Lauren, Jennifer, and Samantha; her great-grandchildren, Bentley, Shawn, Olivia, Jacob, Natasha, and Liam; several sisters-in-law and a host of nieces and nephews. Private cremation services were held at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. Regina will be buried with her husband John at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Detroit at a later date.
