Regina Ruffin Merrick

Regina Ruffin Merrick, 63, of Pineville, went home to the Lord on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital and Respiratory Care Center, Mt. Vernon, KY. She was born in San Diego, Ca on September 11, 1953 a daughter of Imogene Woodward Ruffin and the late, Homer F. Ruffin. She was a Registered Nurse and had worked in Labor and Delivery. Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Bruce Lee Merrick; children and their spouses, Bruce Lee ,II, 'Chip' and Madison Merrick; Jeremiah John 'JJ' and Elaine Merrick, Thomas Ruffin 'Ty' and Tiffany Merrick; Susanna Rebekah and Graham Klinkbiel; Monteith Alan 'Monte' Merrick and Malcolm Al-Edward 'Al' and Whittney Merrick; ten grandchildren, brother, William Ruffin and a host of other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Regina's Life will be at 7:00 pm Monday, December 19, 2016 at the First Baptist Church, Pineville, with Dr. Ron Howard. Donations, in lieu of flowers are suggested to the Regina Merrick Fund at First Baptist Church Pineville, 405 W. KY Ave, Pineville, KY 40977 The family will gather with friends Monday, December 19 from 6:00 until the service hour at the First Baptist Church, Pineville.
