Recia Roark Napier

Recia Roark Napier, 90, of Arjay, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at the Pineville Community Health Center. Recia was born on February 23, 1935, to the late McKinley and Polly Sizemore Roark. Recia had been a homemaker and was a believer in the Baptist Faith.

In addition to her parents, Recia, is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Joe Napier, grandson, Joseph (Joe) King, and several brothers and sisters.

Recia is survived by her children and their spouses, Joetta and Bruce Howard, Jerry and Karen Napier, Tammy and Donnie King, and George and Bridgett Napier, grandchildren, Nicholas, Nicole, Ashley, Joseph, Jared, Chris, Pam, and Brandon, nine great grandchildren, siblings, Sybil Fultz, Mary Hunter, and Bonnie Brock, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Arnett and Steele Funeral Home in Pineville, with Rev. Irving Gipson officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until the funeral hour, on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at the Arnett and Steele Funeral Home in Pineville. Friends and Family will meet at Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro, on Monday, April 28, 2025, at 10:00 AM, for graveside services, with sons, grandsons, and great grandsons; Nicholas Howard, Jared King, London King, Gage King, and friends of the family serving as pallbearers.
