Rebecca Lynn Muncy

Rebecca Lynn Simpson Muncy, 38, of Hulen, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2014 in Hulen. She was born in Middlesboro on April 30, 1976, a daughter of Ronnie Simpson and the late Jeanette Creech Taylor. She had been a homemaker. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Justin Muncy, grandmother, Ruby Simpson, grandfathers, French Simpson, Eugene Creech and Conley Greene; aunts, Bernice Johnson, Kathryn Cupp and Peggy Bailey; uncle, Charles Johnson and cousin, Warren Jay Cupp. Survivors include her sons, George Matthew Moses, IV and Wyatt Logan Moses; father, Ronnie Simpson, step-mother, Alice Simpson, second mother, Mary Simpson; step-son, Patrick Sumpter; grandmothers, Doris Howard and Ethel Creech; brother, Jason Taylor; step-brother, Gary Wayne Taylor; aunts and uncles, Steve Howard; George Howard; Tonya Sims; Jackie Lutrell, Vera and Charles Daniels, Phyllis and Ray White, Kenneth Creech; Joy Creech, Susan and Richard Robinson; Warren Cupp and Gary Bailey; father of her sons, George Moses; special friend, Tommy Chasteen and a host of cousins, and friends. Services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday at the Blackmont Baptist Church with Rev. David Howard and Rev. Everett Eads. Music will be by the church family and friends. Burial will be in Upland Cemetery at Hulen with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6 until 10 PM at the Blackmont Baptist Church.
