Raymond Hall, age 85, born in Mayking, KY passed away Saturday January 17, 2009 at his home in Speedwell, TN. He was a devoted husband and father & loving grandfather. He had dedicated his life to Christ at an early age. He was a retired coal miner and World War II Marine Corp Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Maggie Hall, Step-father Joe McCray, sisters: Leona Holbrook, Vergie Johnson, infant sister Mary Bell Hall, brothers: Alex, Leonard and Tommy Hall.

Survivors include wife of sixty-one years; Virginia Adams Hall of Speedwell. Sons: Warren (& Bonnie) Hall of Louisville, KY. Rodney (& Karen) Hall of Speedwell. Daughter; Teresa ( & Cecil) Deel of Clintwood, VA. Grandchildren: Chase, Chad, Nikki, Brandi, Christina, Phillip, & Marcus. Great-grandchildren: Allison, Payton, Elyse, Conner, Madison, Lindsey, Wyatt & Truman. And a host of nieces nephews and friends.2009

Visitation will be at Reece Funeral Home & Valley Chapel Monday, January 19, 2009 from 5:00-8:00 pm. The funeral service will be at 8:00 pm on Monday with Rev. J.C. Monday and grandson Rev. Marcus Deel officiating. Music by Brian Giles & Betty Gregg. Graveside services will be Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at 11:00 am at The Ausmus Cemetery with full military honors provided by The Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard.
