Ray Wilder

Ray Wilder, Sr., of Memphis Tennessee, formerly of Pineville, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital of Memphis. Ray was born in Pineville, Kentucky on January 13, 1917 and was the son of the late Milt and Lillie Hoskins Wilder. Ray had served our country during World War II in the United States Navy, and was a retired Area Supervisor for A & P Food Stores. In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his wife of 76 years, Christine McKinney Wilder in 2014. Survivors include his sons, Randall Wilder and Ray Wilder, Jr. and wife, Cindy Wilder; four grandchildren, Ashley, Ryan, Kristen and Brock; five great-grandchildren,Cayson, Beckett, Haven, Ashely and Alicia a great-great-grandchild, Aliyah and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Graveside services were Sunday at 1:00 P.M. at the Pineville Memorial Cemetery. The Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville is honored to serve the Wilder family. .
