Ray Davenport

Ray Davenport, 62 of Pineville passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at Britthaven of Pineville. He was born in Pineville on December 24, 1945 a son of the late Floyd and Charlotte Green Davenport. He believed in the Baptist faith and had been a coal miner and logger. Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Sharon Davenport of Pineville; nieces, Linda Olear of Hutch, Pam Davenport of Middlesboro and Amanda Davenport of Tazewell; children, Russell and Betty Davenport of Barbourville, Phillip and Crystal Davenport of Corbin, Connie and Eddie Mason of Barbourville and Sarah and Robert Procter of Pineville; seven grandchildren; special friends, Willie Brown, Finley Smith and Bill Pose and a host of other relatives, friends and neighbors.
