Ray Brewer

Ray Brewer, age 79, of Tazewell, Tennessee, formerly of West Carrollton, Ohio, passed away following a brief illness, on Thursday, July 16, 2026.

Born in Sneedville, Tennessee, on March 19, 1947, to the late Aubrey and Ethel Brewer, Ray devoted his life to being a loving son, brother, father and grandfather. Early in life, Ray and his family moved from Tennessee to Ohio, where he was a long-time employee of Folino Printing Company in Franklin, Ohio, up until his retirement. Following retirement, Ray returned to the family homeplace where he lived a very private and recluse life, which he desired. A very hardworking man, who was an excellent provider for his family, Ray revolved his life around his daughter and grandchildren; family was most important to him. In his spare time, he enjoyed shopping and loved finding a “good deal”. Ray will definitely be forever cherished and missed by his family and friends.

Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by nine siblings, two infant sisters, Clarence Brewer, Bill Brewer, Frances Hendrickson, Sharon Alvarez, John Brewer, Ruth Lambert and Vester “Vet” Brewer.

Survivors include his only child, Inge (Jeremy) Paul; three grandchildren, Jazlyn Paul, Ireland Paul and Silas Paul; and two special sister in laws, Pat Brewer and Carlene Brewer.

Cremation services provided by Arnett & Steele Cremation Services.

Private interment of cremains to take place at Jackson Cemetery, in Tazewell, Tennessee, at a later date.
