Ralph Owens Asher

Ralph Owens Asher, 64, of Beverly, KY passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington, KY. He was born in Beverly on April 5, 1947 a son of the late Clara Estelle Bowens and Edgar Ray Asher. He believed in the Baptist Faith and had been a coal miner. He had served in the United States Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Margaret Marie Lawson, Willa Mae Ulbrick and Gwendolyn Smith; brothers, Orville Asher and James Edgar Asher. Survivors include his children and their spouses, Joyce and Freddie Slusher; Missy and Donald Carter, Corey and Deena Asher; grandchildren, Cody Asher, Josh Slusher, Gabe Slusher, Donna Carter, Whitney Brock, Jessica Carter, Rebecca Asher and Mason Asher; sister, Vivian Joyce Johns; brothers, Winston Leon Asher, Edgar Dillion Asher and Steve Asher and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
