Radie Jones

Radie Lawson Jones, 87, of Ingram, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2007 at the Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was born in Girdler, KY on March 21, 1920 the daughter of the late William Calvin and Maudie Jones Lawson. She was a member of the Greasy Creek Baptist Church and had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Elon (Jessie) Gibson, Mary (Lee) North, Mae (John) Carroll, Rice (Christene) Lawson, Celia Lawson, John C. Lawson and Sherman Lawson. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Joe Jones, children and their spouses, Shirley and Homer Greene, Jewel and Jean Jones, Charles Rice Jones and fiancée, Betty Mills, Cassie Campbell and Helen Kay Jones; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, brother and sister, Liburn and Loraine Lawson of Middlesboro and Zelma Lawson of Barbourville and sister-in-law, Elsie Lawson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
