Queen Smith

Queen Smith, 85 of Burkesville, KY passed away Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Cumberland County Hospital, Burkesville. He was born on May 11, 1929, a son of the late Simon and Ida Smith. He had been a coal miner. Addition to his parents he was proceeded in death by his wife, Ida Beverly Smith, children, Juanita, Willard, Marie, Naomi, Carl and Queen, Jr.; grandsons, Kevin Wayne Smith and Brian Jacob Fuson; sister and brother, Clara Asher and Brian Smith. Survivors include his children, Ruby and Jerry Adams, Alice and Carl Baker and Glen Ray Smith, grand-daughter, Nikki and John McCloughan; great-grandchildren, Jordan and Caleb McCloughan; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Services will be Sunday, May 10, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Custer Watts. Music will be by Lonnie Smith. Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1 until 8 PM at Arnett & Steel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Smith Family.
