Polly Warren McKeehan, 76 of Middlesboro, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2026, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Polly was born in April 2, 1950, in Red Bird, Kentucky to Samuel and Flora Sizemore. She was saved at a young age at Katies Creek United Baptist Church in Red Bird, Kentucky. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend whose greatest joy in life were the the people she loved. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world.
For 40 years, Polly dedicated her life to nursing, caring for countless people throughout her career. Her compassion and desire to care for others extended far beyond her work and were simply part of who she was.
Polly had a love for gardening. She also loved antiques and treasured the history and stories behind things from years gone by. Her home and garden reflected so much of who she was and the things she held dear.
She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and generous heart. To know Polly was to know how deeply she loved her children and grandchildren.
Polly is survived by her husband, Jon McKeehan; her son, Eddie Warren and wife, Lisa; her daughter, Elizabeth Taylor; her bonus daughter, Michelle Mumm and husband, Alan; her beloved grandchildren, Jacob Taylor, Braedon England, Reed England, Emma Warren, Ethan Warren, Kayla Mumm and Savannah Mumm; her sisters, Louella and Clifford Collett and Helen and Chuck Lockman; and her brothers, James and Carol Sizemore and Bobby and Elaine Sizemore.
Polly is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Flora Sizemore; her precious daughter, Rebecca Warren; her brothers, Tom Sizemore, Lester Sizemore, and Denver Sizemore; and her sister, Dora Sizemore.
Polly will be deeply missed, but the beautiful life she created, the memories she gave her family, and her love will live on for generations.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev., Dale Turner presiding. Music will be provided by Liza Barnard. Burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily, Kentucky, with family serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the McKeehan Family.
