Polly Williams Green, age 72 of Speedwell, TN, formerly of Leatherwood, KY, died Tuesday, April 29th, 2008 after a courageous battle with stomach cancer. She was a wonderful mother who taught her children and grandchildren the value of a good days work.

In heaven she will join husband, Harvey Green, parents Lilly and Mary Williams, sisters Ethel Boggs, Liza Maupin, Alafair Chappell, Arlene Williams, Cassie Williams and brother Bige Williams.

Survivors include 7 children, daughters Margie and Randy Huff of Lafollette, TN, Linda and Winston Kilgore, of Speedwell, TN, Sandy and Matt Looney of Kingsport,TN, Ruthie and Andy Pungratz of Georgetown, KY, Pat and Rob Brock of Berea, KY, and sons, Billy and Sue Green of Jeff, KY and Benny Green of Speedwell, TN. Grandchildren - Brandon and Dana Walters, Marty Huff, Andrea and Kit Hevrdeys, Kelly Green, Trevor Huff, Rainee Pungratz, Sam Kilgore, Seth Brock, Drew Pungratz and Maggie Brock.

Sisters, Ava Witt of Bledsoe, KY, Nancy and JC Collett of Cumberland, KY, Callie Creech of St. Clair, MI, and Ona and Bill Curry of Evarts, KY and brothers, Robert Williams of Hyden, KY and Forrester Williams of Johnson City. Special niece, Fran Manners of Huntsville, AL.

She will be remembered lovingly by a host of nieces, nephews and many close family and friends.

Visitation will take place at the Reece Valley Chapel in Harrogate, TN on Thursday, May 1st from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral will be Friday, May 2nd at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Kenny Rogrers, Gary Cunningham and Matt Looney officiating. Burial following at Wilson Cemetery in Speedwell, TN. Pallbearers: Randy Huff, Winston Kilgore, Matt Looney, Andy Pungratz, Rob Brock, Marty Huff, Brandon Walters, and Kit Hevrdeys.
