Phyllis Roark Hobbs

Phyllis Roark Hobbs, 55, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024, at her home. She was born in Pineville on December 4, 1968, a daughter of Mallie Sue Saylor Roark and the late Ballard Roark. Phyllis was a believer in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and was a daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.

Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Jenny (Russell) Putthoff; sons, Glenn Jr. Hobbs and Shaun Hobbs; two grandchildren, Isaac and Eliza Putthoff, whom she loved very much; two brothers James (Lisa) Roark and Chris (Gina) Roark; and a host of nieces and nephews, whom she loved very much,  father of her children, Glenn Hobbs, Sr, special friend, Deenae Carroll,, other relatives and friends.

Services will be on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at 4:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. James Roark, Rev. Hardy Franks, and Mr. Danny Gray presiding. The music will be provided by the Mathel Church Singers.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 25, 2025 from 3:00 PM until the service hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Hobbs Family.
