Phyllis Lynn Caldwell

Phyllis Lynn Parker Caldwell, 70, of Pineville, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in Closplint, KY on February 24, 1944 a daughter of the late Sampson and Nora Kelly Parker. She attended the Newtown Baptist Church and had been a homemaker. She was called Granny with so much love by everyone. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grant Caldwell and a son, Lowell Sampson Ingram. Survivors include her children, Gloria Jordan, Christopher Caldwell and Sherry Taylor, the grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; including a special grandson, Bobby Holman and his daughter Alexis Holman; other special grandchildren, Stephanie Jordan, Joey Jackson, Dewana, Ben Abbott, and Ryan Cox, special great-grandchild, Kaden Jackson; brothers and sisters, Robert Parker, Paul and Helen Parker, Levon Witt, June Parker, Janette Parker, Buddy Parker and Sue Parker and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial visitation and services will be from 5 - 9 PM Thursday at the Newtown Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Hall.
