Phronia Howard Lefevers

Phronia Howard Lefevers, 89, of Pineville left her earthly home on June 15, 2017 and is now in the presence of the Lord, whom she faithfully served. Phronia was born April 19th, 1928 to the late Roxie and Ben Howard, with whom she is now rejoicing in Heaven along with her siblings, Homer (Virginia) Howard, Gabe Howard, Morris 'Red' (Virgie) Howard, Carrie (R.J.) Johnson, Evelyn 'Bunch' Howard, Ora (Rev. Otto) Brock and Catherine (Ben) Brock. What a wonderful family reunion to behold. Phronia attended Red Bird High School and Knoxville Beauty and Cosmetology School. She was owner and operator of her own Cosmetology business for over 30 years. She then worked for over 20 years at the Bell County Health Department in the clerical field. She was married to George Lefevers who proceeded her in death. From that union she is survived by her two children, Johnny (Sandy) Lefevers and Judy Lefevers, both of Pineville. Phronia will best be remembered as a faithful believer in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Baptized at an early age, she was a devoted member of Mill Creek Baptist Church. She taught Sunday school, VBS and was a member of WMU. She served the Lord in many ways and considered Mill Creek Church her extended family. In addition to her children, left to celebrate her life are beloved grandchildren, Johnna Callebs, Will Lefevers and John David (Jessica) Lefevers. Great Grandchildren, Mikey Long, Bayler Lefevers, Isaac Lefevers, Faith Long and Hayden Lefevers. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Fannie Howard and a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Phronia's favorite Bible verse was Phillipians 4:19 'But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.' Services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday at First Baptist Church, Pineville with Rev. Ray Collett and Rev. Jeremy Sanders. Music will be by Ron, Rodger ,Benny Howard, Rachel Wood and Rhonda Collins. Burial will be in the Howard Cemetery on Right Fork. Pallbearers will be Donnie Howard, Bill Bailey, Charles Saylor, Ron Howard, Rodger Howard and Benny Howard. Honorary pallbearers will be Gabriel Collett, Henry Howard and Andrew Howard and the men of Mill Creek Baptist Church. Memorial donations are suggested to Mill Creek Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 until 9:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Lefevers Family.
