Phillip Brock, 55 of Pineville passed away on Saturday in Lexington. He was born in Brock Hollow in Pineville on February 15, 1956, a son of the late Josephine Hoskins Brock and Arlin ?Pete? Brock, who survives. Phillip was a member of Community Harvest Tabernacle Church, and retired from the Kentucky Utilities Company. He also served the Lord as a minister and belonged to the Full Gospel Ministerial Association and had been a chaplain for Hospice of the Bluegrass-Mountain Heritage. In addition to his father, survivors include his wife of 9 years, Debra Slusher Brock of Pineville; children, Steven Brock of Pineville, Stephanie Sweatt and husband, Chad of Stillwater, OK and Brian Mullins of Lexington, KY; sister, Hazel Hatmaker and husband, Rex of Pineville; brothers, Arthur Lee Brock and wife, Betty of Pineville, Arlin Covey Brock and wife, Tonya of Arjay, Charles L. Brock and wife, Nancy of Stoney Fork, Michael Brock and William Brock, both of Pineville, special friend, Bertha Napier and a host of nieces, nephews, other relative and many friends.
