Pearlie Lou Wingeier

Pearlie Lou Wingeier, 73 of Williamsburg, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. She was born in Pineville on August 20, 1950, a daughter of the late Bill Sr and Sarah Bowman Roark. Pearlie had been a Resident Hall Director and Professor at the University of the Cumberlands.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Viva Broughton, Ray Roark, Willie Roark, Amanda Jane Hansen, Dorothy Trump, Hazel Wilkerson, and Bill Roark, Jr.

Pearlie is survived by her stepdaughter, Dezi Wingeier; brother, John Roark; sister, Nancy Wilkerson and Reba Sexton; special niece, Tiffany Roark; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Fleenor and Ms. Linda Carter presiding.
