Pearlie Cavins, age 91, of Monroe, MI, passed away Tues., June 19, 2012 at her home. Born in Harrogate, TN, a daughter of the late Rev. John and Nealie Dixon. She was a member of the Kentucky Park Missionary Baptist Church, enjoyed quilting, singing at church and caring for her home and yard.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Orville; son, Jimmie; two brothers, Shelby and Tom; sisters, Effie Hatfield, Minnie Daniels, Bessie Massingill and Maudie Cavins.

Survivors, daughter, Betty (& Kyle) Moore, Monroe, MI; daughter-in-law, Judith Cavins, Belleville, MI; sisters, Ada (& Bill) Pierce, Monroe, Janette (& Arnold) Stahr, Flat Rock, MI, and Virginia (& Neal) Baker, Harrogate, TN; grandchildren, Deborah Cavins, Dontao Cavins and Anthony Cavins; two great-grandchildren, Derick Cavins Moore and Danika Cavins Mason.
