Pauline Lingar

Pauline Lingar age 70 of Arjay, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at the Mountain View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Pineville. She was born in White Mountain in Pineville on December 25, 1948 a daughter of the late Tom and Allie Fair Deaton Lewis. She was of the Holiness faith and had been a homemaker In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her grandson, Jamie Hatfield and sisters, Roberta Smith, Virgie Green and Mable Hall. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, John Arthur Lingar; children, Jimmy Lee (Jewell) Lingar, John Arthur (Sandy) Lingar, Charlene Jones, Charles Ray Lingar and Denver Lingar; grandsons, Josh Lingar and Jack Rice; siblings, Denver Lewis, Norma Jean Taylor and Christine Simpson along with a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Services will be Friday, October 11 at 12:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home in Pineville with Rev. Gary Wagner and Rev. James Griffin. Music will be provided by Julie Wagner. Burial will follow in the Big Jim Cemetery in Arjay with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 10 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Lingar Family.
