Pauline Roark Collett, 89, of Arjay went home to with the Lord on Thursday, March 12,2020 at Corbin Baptist Hospital. She was born in Red Bird on August 19, 1930, a daughter of the late Lawrence Roark and Berniece Smith Roark. She was a member of Victory Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to her husband Walden Collett, she was preceded in death by her brothers, D.S. Roark, Tennyson (J.B) Roark, Lawrence, and Luther Roark, three sisters, Dorothy Adams, Daisy Collett, Carolina Roark, her daughter Esther May York, her daughters-in-law Sharon Diann Collett and Brenda Collett, her granddaughters, Dewonna Michelle York and Paula Ruth Collett Greene, and her grandson, Ottis James Collett. Survivors include her children Luther D. Collett, Walden Collett, Jr., Hershel Collett and Sharon Collett and her adopted son Paul David Collett; grandchildren Luther Joshua Dale Collett, Shaynina Love Collett Gambrel and husband Jeremy Gambrel, Sarah Elizabeth Collett Veillon and husband Anthony Veillon; Charles Dewanye York and wife DeJuana York, and Walden Christopher Collett and wife, Christy Collett; great-grandchildren, Hope Nicole Greene, Faith Noel Greene, Isaiah Hunter Gambrel, Isaac Mckinley Gambrel, Noah Skylar Gambrel, Joy Danielle Grace Gambrel, Ella Kay Veillon, Keishia Michelle York, Clayton Aaron York and wife Chelsea York, Hannah Carolina Bradley Rodriguez and husband Saul Rodriguez, Michael Benjaman Bradley and wife Kimerely Bradley, Tessa Collett Hickerson and husband Josh Hickerson, Jamie Collett, and Christopher D. Collett; great-great-grandchildren Brylee Reanne York, Mason Lane York, Abel James York, Gavin Dewanye Carter, Nathaniel Powers, Trinity Michelle Powers, and Heaven Marie Hickerson. And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, many friends and loved ones. Services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 17, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Luther Collett and Mr. Walden Collett, Jr. Music will be by the Collett Family. Burial will be in the Asher Fork Cemetery in Clay County, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 until 9:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Collett Family.
