Paula Lynn Sidell

Paula Lynn (Howard) Sidell went to join our Lord on April 5, 2026, at 68 years old. Paula was born in Pineville, Kentucky, to Paul Wendell Howard & Henrietta McCreary. She was preceded in death by her parents; as well as her sisters, Marilyn & Senora.

Paula resided in Dandridge, Tennessee; and was married to Wayne Alan Sidell. Both Paula & Wayne retired from the United States Air Force. After her retirement, Paula worked for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) until retiring from that agency in December of 2014.

Paula was blessed with two sons; Steven Anthony White (married to Any Romero) of the Dominican Republic, and Robert Alan White (married to Ashley Temple) of Bremerton, Washington; and a granddaughter, Ellie Marie White. She also has a stepdaughter, Stacy Ann (Sidell) Trejo (married to Gerry Trejo) of Valencia, California; and two step-grandchildren, Blake Justin Trejo (of Valencia, California) and Dylan James Trejo of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

She lived a full life with family, friends and her Church. She was active in the Women’s Missionary Union and Vacation Bible School.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests remembrance gifts be given to the Swansylvania Baptist Church Women’s Missionary Union (WMU).

Visitation will take place from 1PM to 2PM, Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Swansylvania Baptist Church in Dandridge with a funeral service to immediately follow. Burial will occur at 1PM, Friday, April 10, 2026, at the Upland Cemetery in Blackmont, Kentucky.
