Paul Garfield Roark, 75, of Arjay, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2012 at the Pineville Community Hospital. He was born in Beverly, KY on December 7, 1936 a son of the late Huey and Susie Lawson Roark. He believed in the Pentecostal Faith and was a member of the Ferndale Pentecostal Church. A lifelong resident of Bell County, he had been a coal miner for 36 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Mack and Nollie Sizemore Patrick; a great-grandson, Bradley Scott Bingham; sister and brother-in- law, George and Lizzie Mae Lawson; brothers-in-law, Ben Hoskins and Charles Lefevers. Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Hannah Patrick Roark; four daughters, Donna Sue Roark, Janet Warren and George Browning, Savannah Wilder, all of Arjay and Lisa Rhodes and husband, Leonard of Pineville; five grandchildren, Jewell Tiffany and Derek Bingham, Misty Marie Rhodes, Hannah Grace Rhodes, Trevor Wade Wilder and Caleb William Paul Wilder; two brothers and their wives, Wesley and Helen Roark and Paul Hubert and Jerri Roark, all of Fort Wayne, IN; six sisters, Virgie Lefevers of Pineville, Ella Hoskins of Lenoir City, TN; Barbara and Joey Sanders of Fort Wayne, IN; Shirley and Doyle Gray of Knox Co, KY; Marlene and Amos Smallwood of Manchester, KY and Vickie and Tim Lefevers of Knox Co., KY; special friends, Rev. Walter Brock, Paul Gray, Dillard Hoskins, Bubbie Hoskins, Bobby Ulrich, Wallace Elliott, Ed Moore and Willie B. Hubbard and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
