Paul "Bunyan" Jackson

Dennis Paul ?Bunyan? Jackson, 37 of Arjay passed away on Monday, August 20, 2007 at Pineville Community Hospital. He was born in Red Bird on December 5, 1969 and had been a coal miner. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Jackson; brother, Ricky Jackson and a nephew, Dalton Gregory. Survivors include his wife of sixteen years, Angela Fuson Jackson, children, Lyndsey Jackson and Jonathan Jackson all of Arjay; parents Opal and Roy Asher of Arjay; sister, Judy and husband Jay Rice of Arjay; brothers and their wives, Kenneth and Merl Jackson, Danny ?Redbone? and Teresa Jackson all of Arjay, and Russell and Rhonda Asher of Straight Creek; nieces and nephews, Josh and Ashley Asher, Donna and Kendra Jackson, David, Cody, Austin and Zachary Fuson, Jason and Katherine Rice, Melinda Rice and Albert Gregory, Kayla, James and McKenzie Rice Sophia and Sierra Lefevers, Mickey and Maddison Jackson; great-nieces and nephew, Jaden Gregory, Tatten and Maddison Rice and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be on Thursday, August 23 at 2:00 PM at Green Camp Pentecostal Church with Rev. Gary Wagner officiating. Music will be by Julie Wagner and friends. Burial will follow in the Brummett Cemetery at Simms Fork. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends after 6 PM Wednesday at Green Camp Pentecostal Church.
