Paul Davis

Paul Davis, Loving companion of June Rowlett for 5 ½ years passed away March 9, 2017. Born December 6, 1936 to the late Rev. Albert & Audra Lambert Davis. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife- Jean Davis, brother-in-law- Bob Hensley, and step daughter- Elizabeth Libby Hurd. Paul was a 32 degree Mason and a member of Powell Valley Lodge 488 for more than 50 years. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include wife- June Rowlett of Harrogate, brothers- Glen (& Barbara) Davis of LaFollette, Wayne Davis of Knoxville, sister- Faye Hensley of Speedwell, grandchildren- Jordon Clay (& Andrea) Hurd, Morgan Brianna (& Perry) Mason, son-in-law- John David (& Judy) Hurd, special friends- Donna & Dick Markley and a host of friends & family.

Masonic service 7 PM Monday March 13 at Reece Funeral Home & Valley Chapel. Funeral to follow with Elder Larry Anderson and Rev. Scott Cannon officiating. Music by the Tub Singers. The family will receive friends from 5-7. Burial 2 PM Tuesday in the Ausmus Cemetery. Pallbearers: Dick Markley, Clay Hurd, John Hurd, Randy Lee, Chris Lee, Lt. Mike Hensley & Robbie Davis.
