Paul Davenport

Paul Isaac Davenport, 90, of Pineville, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2009 at Britthaven of Pineville. He was born in Bell-Jellico on June 2, 1918 a son of the late Charlie and Mossie Lee West Davenport. He believed in the Baptist Faith and had been a Bell County Division of Forestry Fire Fighter. He served in the United States Army during World War II. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by brothers and sisters, Elias Davenport, Silas Davenport, Roxie Sparks, Goldie Beck, Ruth Matthews, Beatrice Philpot, Kathleen Sturgill and Birdie Foster. Survivors include a special nephew, John Paul Goodin and his children, Krista Goodin and Samuel Slusher, sister, Jewell Goodin and brother, John Davenport and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
