Patty Louise Humfleet Moyers

Mrs. Patty Louise (Humfleet) Moyers age 81 of Speedwell, TN passed away peacefully on Monday, May 13, 2019 with her family by her side.  She was born March 18, 1938 in Middlesboro, KY to the late Fred and Frona (Price) Humfleet.  She was a member of Carr’s Chapel Baptist Church.  Patty worked as a salesclerk at Roses for 14 years.  She loved watching Kentucky basketball, sewing and most of all spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Oris Lee Moyers; son-in-law, Mike Cosby and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughters, Vickie Cosby, Teresa (Dale) McCarty, Kim Moyers, and Angie (Chris) Carr; grandchildren, Leah, Emily, Natalie and Caden; great grandson, Brayden; sisters, Dorothy Adams and Jeanette (Donnie) Fultz; several special caretakers and a host of many other loving relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday, May 16 from 5:30PM until 7:30PM with funeral services to follow at 7:30PM at Carr’s Chapel Baptist Church, 5751 Hwy 63, Speedwell, TN, with Rev. Keith Medley officiating.  Music will be provided by Debbie and Steve Gulley.

Family and friends will meet Friday, May 17 at 10:30AM at Carr’s Chapel Baptist Church to go in procession to Carr’s Cemetery for 11:00AM graveside services.
